Before you begin
What you will need
You need Hostaway access that can open Settings and create a Partner API credential. You control the credential and can rotate it whenever you need.
Hostaway admin access
Ask an administrator for help if Settings or Hostaway API is unavailable to you.
Two values to collect
You will copy an Account ID and an API Key. The API Key is visible only once.
Open the Hostaway dashboard
Sign in to your Hostaway account. You need an account with permission to manage API access.
Open Hostaway API settings
In the dashboard, go to Settings → Hostaway API.
Do not see Hostaway API? Ask your account administrator to create the credentials for you.
Create a Partner credential
Click Create, choose Partner, and give it a clear name such as Kismet.
Copy your Account ID and API Key
Copy the Account ID and the new API Key. Hostaway shows the API Key only once.
Copy the API Key now. Keep it private until you submit it in the next step.
Send both values to Kismet
Please do not email credentials. Use the encrypted key drop and choose Hostaway.

Security notes
Keep control of your credentials
Please do not email your API Key. Use the encrypted Kismet key drop instead.
Kismet stores your credentials encrypted, so they are not held as readable text.
Rotate the API Key in Hostaway at any time to revoke Kismet access immediately.
